ABOUT
I have spent many years studying therapy, practising therapy and also being a client in therapy and I am passionate about the work and what can be achieved.
I work with individuals who are making really positive changes in their lives, overcoming obstacles in their paths, and who find new fulfilment as a result of the work we do together.
In line with the BACP requirement, I have undergone a robust training and have qualified to a high standard with an Honorary Bachelor of Science degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have many years of experience in clinical practice and work within a robust ethical framework that ensures confidentiality and places you and your needs at
the centre of the work. All my client work is supervised by a UKCP registered supervisor who supports me in my professional and ethical practice. As a part of my commitment to my profession I continue to develop my skills and experience through ongoing training and personal development.
I believe that all people deserve to be seen, heard and believed by someone who is with them and for them. There is no minimum measure of difficulty that means that therapy is not for you. Whether you are facing difficulties and problems that you feel unable to overcome by yourself or you choose therapy as a part of your regular self-care and maintenance, talking to a therapist can and does help.
I have experience of working with a wide range of individuals, from different cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, genders and socio-economic groups, each who bring their own unique experience which is deeply respected
and supported.
